Successful graduates of this course are eligible for CEF reimbursement of 80% of tuition fee subject to a maximum of HK$10,000.
(Students must meet the attendance rate of 80% or above and satisfy the academic requirements prescribed by the faculty in order to be awarded the Diploma of Graduation. Outstanding graduates can be offered assistance in job placement in HKFA affiliated production companies.)
The course is designed for those who aim to work as film/video editors in the film and TV industries. It covers all aspects of Computer Digital On-line Editing, both visual and audio, with emphasis on AV Captures, Use of Transitions and Filters, Titles and Special Effects and A/V Output etc. Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro & AVID will be employed as lecturing media.

6. Non-linear Video Editing.
7. Combination previews of multi editing plans.
8. Demonstration and Operation of Subtitles.
9. Movie Sound Editing.
10. Sound Effects Mixing.
11. Multi-Channels Computer Sound Mixing.
12. Spatial Continuity: "180 degree Rule".
13. Compositions and Rhythm in Creative Film Editing.
14. Jump-Cut: Discontinuity in Time and Space.
15. Relationship between Audio and Visual Elements.
