Prof Schumann F Tang, PhD
Professor Schumann F Tang, founder of Hong Kong Film Academy, received his first degree in Graphic Design and Professional Photography at New York School of Fine Arts. After graduation he worked as a designer and fashion photographer with Leo Burnette, a 4A-advertising agency based in New York. A year after he was promoted Art Director he resigned from the agency and furthered his study in Film and Television Production at New York University. He joined CBS-TV for a year and then moved to NBC-TV in Los Angeles where he pursued his MFA in Film Production, MSS and PhD in Clinical Psychology at UCLA. Prof Tang had worked for a number of film companies in Hollywood such as Falcon Productions, CineVision Productions etc before he began his lecturing career as Associate Professor at Columbia College of Film and Television and Professor at UCLA.
Prof Tang was former President of East-West Communications (USA), Director of International Alliance of Art Critics-Hong Kong Chapter, Panel Juror of Spanish International Film Students Festival, Chairman of Hong Kong Golden Bauhinia Film Awards, and Founder-Director of Hong Kong Film Critics Association. Presently, Prof Tang serves as Juror Member of the Hong Kong Film Awards, Expert Adviser to HK Cable-TV, Subject Specialist of Hong Kong Council for Academic Accreditation, Production Director (Asian Pacific) of MetroCine Productions, and Director of Hong Kong Psychological Research Center.

Michael Gleissner
A noted underwater photographer and music video director, Michael Gleissner began his professional career in the technology industry. After service as Vice President at Amazon.com, Gleissner turned his attention to entertainment business and started the Bigfoot Group of Companies, which includes ventures such as Bigfoot Entertainment, Hong Kong Film Academy, the International Academy of Film and Television in the Philippines, ClererLearn, New Concept Mandarin and Bigfoot Partners, a film fund that has financed and produced diverse films such as 3 Needles, East Broadway, Shanghai Kiss and The Curiosity of Chance. Among the projects in development of Bigfoot Entertainment are the adventure travel television series, "Nautical Angels" and feature films ¡§See Dick Run¡¨ and ¡§Cockfight¡¨, shooting later this year. Bigfoot also acquired the master franchise of Fashion TV in Singapore and the Philippines, and has just finished shooting a Hollywood movie (¡§Irreversi¡¨) in Hong Kong.

Lo Chi Kin, Andie is a Certified Public Accountant of The Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants, an associate member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales, and a fellow member of The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants in United Kingdom. Mr. Lo is also an associate member of The Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators in the United Kingdom and The Hong Kong Institute of Chartered Secretaries. He graduated from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University with a Master's Degree in Professional Accounting and holds a Master's Degree in Business Administration and a Master's Degree in Corporate Governance from The Open University of Hong Kong. Currently, Mr. Lo is an executive director and a chief corporate management consultant of On Harvest (H.K.) Limited. Previously, he had been engaged as a senior executive of various listed companies in Hong Kong and had worked for an international accountancy firm. Mr. Lo has more than twenty years' working experience in finance, accounting, auditing, administration, management, corporate governance and formation of corporate strategies and policies and is an author of the book titled ¡§Guide to MPF Contributions ¡V Employer's Wise Pocket¡¨, which was well acknowledged by the previous chairman of the Securities and Futures Commission and had been collected by the Central Library in Hong Kong for public reference.

Liu Hei-yin Serene, MA
Liu Hei Yin, Serene received her BA in English and American Literature from National Central University in Taiwan. During the four years of intensive training, Serene has developed her great passion for the subject of English Language and Cultural Diversity. After graduation, she had worked as an English Instructor in Taiwan for a year before she furthered to pursue her Master¡¦s degree in Translation Studies at the University of Warwick, England. After returning to Hong Kong, she continued her educational career as a Mandarin Instructor at New Concept Mandarin, a renowned language institute which is also an affiliate of Bigfoot Group dedicating in professional teaching of Mandarin and Cultural Orientation for foreign expatriates of international corporations. Serene is currently serving at the Hong Kong Film Academy as the Admissions Director.
